Richmond Auctions is proud to present the Tony Townley Collection featuring over 100 cars and 400 pieces of advertising history.

With elegant pre-war offerings like the 1929 Duesenberg and 1930 Cadillac V-16 Sport Phaeton. The flamboyant 50’s featuring a 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air Fuel Injected convertible and 1957 Pontiac Bonneville Fuel Injected convertible. A staggering number of incredible muscle cars including 1965 Shelby GT350, 1969 Yenko Camaro, 1969 Unrestored low mileage Charger Daytona, 1969 Pontiac Firebird Convertible Ram Air 4 speed, 1970 unrestored low mileage 440-6 4 Speed Superbird, 1970 GT500, 1970 Boss 429, 1971 Hemi 4 Speed Cuda and the list goes on and on.

ONLINE & PRE-REGISTRATION:

Pre-register online at bid.richmondauctions.com. To finalize your online bidder registration, we require the following items:

1. Bank Letter of Guaranty – A personal bank letter of guaranty must be submitted to [email protected].  (Bank Letter of Guaranty template)
2. Government-Issued ID – A copy of the front and back of your driver’s license (or other valid government-issued ID) must be provided as well.
3. Contact Phone Number – If you did not provide one during registration, please include the best number to reach you to ensure receipt of the instructions and to answer any further questions.

IN-PERSON REGISTRATION:

To complete your bidder registration at the event, we require the following items:

1. Bank Letter of Guaranty – A personal bank letter of guaranty must be submitted to [email protected] PRIOR to showing up at the auction. It will ease the onsite registration process to receive this ahead of the auction start Friday October 24, 2025, although it can be presented that day. (Bank Letter of Guaranty template)
2. Government-Issued ID – A copy of the front and back of your driver’s license (or other valid government-issued ID) must be provided as well.
3. Contact Phone Number – Please include the best number to reach you in your email to answer any further questions.
4. Cash Payment Arrangements – In the event you wish to pay cash in lieu of a personal bank letter of guaranty, a 50% deposit will be required by electronic check or credit card prior to the start of the auction which will be held in escrow until the completion of the auction. Please contact our finance office at 864-982-5536.

Please note:

1. All bidders, whether online or in-person, must meet these requirements.
2. Registering for one day automatically registers you for both days of the auction.
3. Once we receive your documents, we will review and confirm your approval to bid.

BIDDER REGISTRATION PACKAGE:

The bidder registration fee is $100 which includes admission for two to the viewing and auction area with two reserved seats, subject to availability. Free admittance with registration.

ADMITTANCE:

Admittance – $20 per person
Children 12 & Under Free
Parking – Free

PARKING:

General parking will be found in, immediately across from our auction location. The entrance to the parking area is off Snow Mills Road, just a short walk to check-in, the viewing and auction areas. Please, for your safety, cross only at the marked cross walk with flashing lights. Event maps will be available as you park. ADA parking spaces will be available. Attendants will direct you when you approach the parking areas. Notify attendants if assistance is required from the parking area. In the event of rain, alternative parking has been secured nearby at the following location:

Watkinsville, GA 30677

Shuttles will run attendees back and forth from the marked parking areas at these lots to the auction location.

ROAD CLOSURES:

All roadways or pathways throughout the Townley property are closed to all general public vehicles. The auction area is foot traffic only which includes several outbuildings to showcase this incredible collection. Traffic will be directed at the nearest crossroads with signage and attendants directing you to the parking area.

BIDDING IN THE ROOM:

While prospective bidders may register to bid at the site prior to the Auction and during viewing hours, it is strongly recommended that registration be completed prior to arriving at the Auction site. Additional stipulations are required, and a bidder must be approved based on the completion of those requirements.

Each bidder whose registrations have been completed and accepted by Richmond Auctions, bidder badges will be available for collection at the Registration/Check-in Desk at an historic Gas Station Building next to the Auction venue during viewing hours and the Auction.

Each bidder is personally responsible for any use of their bidder badge provided to such respective bidder for purposes of identification, and each bidder agrees that it is personally liable for the full Purchase Price (as defined in the terms & Conditions of Sale) if the bidder badge and/or number is used in bidding on any lot whether by the respective bidder or by any other person.

Each bidder, Buyer, attendee or participant by entering the Auction site agrees to comply with all applicable policies and procedures Richmond Auctions may communicate from time to time, including without limitation any posted signage pertaining to safety, health or other requirements.

TAXES:

The buyer is responsible for all state and local sales and/or use taxes, duties, tariffs, and license fees on any lot purchased. If Richmond Auctions is required to collect any sales tax on any lot purchased, Richmond will outline that additional tax on the invoice. If Richmond Auctions is not required to collect sales tax, the Buyer may be required to pay taxes directly to the state or local tax authority. For more information we recommend you consult with your tax advisor.

PAYMENT:

Payment of the full Purchase Price must be received by Richmond Auctions by 5:00PM Eastern Standard Time (EST) on Friday, October 31, 2025.

LOT REMOVAL AND STORAGE:

The Buyer must make immediate arrangements for the collection and transport of all purchased lots. All vehicle lots must be removed from the Auction site at Buyer’s risk and expense no later than 5:00 PM EST on Friday, October 31, 2025. Please contact us at 864-991-5949 with additional questions. The Buyer is solely responsible for arrangements to collect, transport and/or the storage of any purchased lot. Suggested logistics and transportation:

The Representatives will be on site during the auction to make arrangements directly with winning bidders as needed. Your carrier likely can arrange for temporary storage of any vehicle if required. All vehicles must be removed from the premises within business hours by 5:00 PM Eastern on October, 31, 2025.
